New York Public Library Resources

The New York Public Library has many online resources, organized by age, not only for children but for parents and educators as well. If you do not have an NYPL library card you can apply through this site which provides you with further instructions: https://www.nypl.org/books-music-movies/ebookcentral/simplye

SimplyE is NYPL’s free app you can download on a smart phone which makes it easier to access the online resources available. It may take a few hours after applying for an NYPL library card to have access to their online resources, which include ebooks and audiobooks.

Another online resource available from 2-11 PM is daily virtual tutoring for students from early elementary through high school grades. Outside of these hours there is video content available 24 hours a day which can help with homework and more. The tutoring is offered in both English and Spanish, and covers all core subjects as well as ESL. Test prep for SAT, PSAT, ACT and more is also available for high school students.
